Privacy

How American People News handles personal information.

Who we are

American People News (americanpeoplenews.com) is the publisher of this website.

What we collect

We do not set analytics or advertising cookies at the moment. Our hosting and network providers (Google Firebase Hosting and Cloudflare) process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.

Cookies and your choices

When you first visit, a banner asks about optional cookies for preferences, analytics, advertising. They stay off unless you switch them on. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and closing the banner rejects them.

Your choices, the date and a random consent ID are kept in your browser's local storage for 6 months, so you are not asked on every page. That record stays on your device and is never sent to us. We ask again after 6 months or if the categories change.

You can change or withdraw your choices at any time with Cookie settings at the foot of each page. The panel lists the cookies each category uses.

US privacy choices and Global Privacy Control

We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. If that changes, it will only happen with advertising cookies you allow, and you can opt out at any time with Your privacy choices at the foot of each page.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and advertising cookies stay off.

If you email us

If you email us, we use your message and address to reply and keep them only as long as we need to.

Your rights

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. To do so, email contact@americanpeoplenews.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.

Changes

We will update this page if the way we handle information changes, and show the date of the change.
